A tribute to Gotland and the hidden treasures of the Baltic Sea.

This heart-shaped pendant is inspired by the fossilised chain coral, one of Gotland's most distinctive natural treasures. Hundreds of millions of years ago, the island lay beneath a warm prehistoric sea where chain corals formed vast reefs. Even today, their beautiful patterns can still be discovered in Gotland's limestone.

I lived on Gotland for many years, and this piece was created as a tribute to the island, the Baltic Sea, and the remarkable landscape that makes Gotland so unique.

The heart was hand-sculpted and then cast in sterling silver (925). The distinctive chain coral pattern has been carefully carved by hand and contrasts beautifully with the concrete background, highlighting the fossil's organic forms and creating a striking sense of depth.

A piece of jewellery for those who wish to carry the sea, Gotland's limestone shores, and the island's ancient history close to their heart.
